Electrolytes vs plain water: when each is enough
You don't need an electrolyte drink every time you're thirsty. Here's the honest line between the two.

We sell electrolytes, and we'll still say it plainly: most of the time, plain water is fine. SALT isn't here to replace water — it's here for the times water alone doesn't quite cover it.
When plain water is plenty.
A normal day, mostly indoors, light activity, a short walk — water does the job on its own. Adding electrolytes you have not really lost is not doing anything for you. Save them.
When electrolytes earn their place.
The long, hot, sweaty stretches: a session outdoors, hours on your feet, a run in the heat, a big travel day into summer. There you are losing minerals as well as fluid — and water only replaces one of them.
Why water alone can fall short.
When you have sweated a lot and drink only water, you top up the volume but not what was dissolved in what you lost. That is the gap a sachet of electrolytes fills — nothing more mysterious than that.
We'd rather you drank SALT when it helps and water when it doesn't. An honest product knows its own job.
A one-question test.
Ask yourself: have I been sweating hard, for a while, in the heat? If yes, reach for electrolytes. If no, water is fine. Keep it that simple.
